is looking for an experienced Manager for our DCI (Disputes, Claims
and Investigations) Wage and Hour practice team. This is a
full-time position which offers full benefits, 401K, and potential
for annual bonuses.Stout offers deep experience working on behalf
of our clients to analyze complex data in connection with high
stakes business litigation and general economic consulting. Our
Managers work closely with staff members and experts to analyze
data and provide independent thoughtful analyses.Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Manage various engagement objectives and day-to-day tasks
- Review and analyze large quantities of data and develop complex
analyses
- Manage day-to-day client relationships and anticipate project
scope, timing and budget issues
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with clients
- Manage competing client expectations and work with staff to
accomplish deadlines and deliverables
- Establish work plan, resource needs and appropriate
methodologies to optimize project
- Facilitate and lead client discussions
- Manage risks and utilize creative problem solving
techniques
- Develop junior level staff and provide professional development
opportunities
- Ensure timely completion of project deliverables while
maintaining a high quality of work-product
- Prepare and present written analyses, reports and presentations
to clientsRequired Qualifications:
- Four year degree at a college or university, preferably in
Economics or Finance
- Five or more years of experience in wage and hour
consulting
- A working knowledge of advanced database management and
analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, STATA, R, etc.
- Expert in Microsoft suite skills, including Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Access
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation
skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on
multiple, complex projects in diverse areas
- Excellent teamwork, time management, organizational, and
problem-solving skills
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to self-motivate
- Rigorous attention to detail and commitment to quality
control
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements,
timetables, and leadership
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, interacting
effectively with project teams and clients, as well as being able
to juggle the demands and scheduling needs of multiple clients at
once.Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong expert report preparation experience
- Expert level experience with SAS and Microsoft Access#LI-KG1Why

Washington, Stout is required by law to include a reasonable
estimate of the compensation range for this role. The range for
this role considers several factors including but not limited to
prior work and industry experience, education level, and unique
skills. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any
applicable geographic differential associated with the location at
which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an
individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their
role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and
circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current
range is $87,000.00 - $195,000.00 Annual. This role is also
anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
