Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join
our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide primary care
to infants, children, and adolescents, focusing on preventive care,
diagnosing conditions, and managing overall health.
Responsibilities: - Conduct physical examinations on pediatric
patients - Provide acute and chronic patient care - Administer
medications and vaccines - Collaborate with physicians and
healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care - Educate
patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health records
systems like Athenahealth - Coordinate home care services for
pediatric patients as needed - Perform urgent care interventions
when required - Work in various medical settings such as internal
medicine clinics, urgent care centers, laboratories, and senior
care facilities - Conduct procedures like gastric lavage when
necessary Experience: - Previous experience in pediatric nursing or
as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in pediatrics - Proficiency in
medical terminology specific to pediatrics - Familiarity with
pediatric dialysis procedures is a plus - Ability to work
effectively in a fast-paced environment with a focus on
patient-centered care This position offers competitive compensation
