Here's a job description for a party host for kids' and all ages birthday parties:**Job Summary:**The Kids' Birthday Party Host is responsible for creating a fun and engaging party experience for children and their guests during birthday celebrations at our venue. They will coordinate and lead party activities and schedule to ensure that the party runs smoothly and that children/guests have a memorable time.**Responsibilities:**

• **Party Planning and Setup:**- Collaborate with parents/guardians/guest of honor to understand their party preferences and requirements.- Set up party areas, decorations, and any necessary equipment before the party begins.
• **Party Hosting:**- Welcome and greet guests as they arrive at the party. Check them in following protocol.- Engage with children and create a friendly and energetic atmosphere.- Lead the party schedule and activities - roller skating, arcade time (if applicable), eating + cake time, and any other party activities scheduled for the duration of the event..- Ensure that all children/guests are included and having a good time.
• **Entertainment:**- Organize party activities, games and contests to keep children entertained and guests informed of rules.- Coordinate group activities like arts and crafts or STEM experiments if applicable.- Supervise children during roller skating and activities to maintain safety.
• **Food and Cake Service:**- Serve food, cake, and beverages to children and guests.- Ensure that dietary restrictions or allergies are considered.- Coordinate food timing with the kitchen to ensure food is out at the scheduled time.- Maintain cleanliness and order in the dining or party area.
• **Party Cleanup:**- Assist in cleaning up the party area and returning it to its original condition.- Help guests with their belongings and any party favors.- Ensure that all equipment, roller skates, and props are properly stored after the party.
• **Safety and Supervision:**- Ensure the safety of all children during the party.- Be attentive to any accidents or incidents and provide first aid or assistance as needed. Notify management of any and all incidents.- Maintain a secure and controlled environment.
• **Customer Service:**- Interact with parents or guardians to address any questions or concerns.- Gather feedback and comments from parents to improve future parties.**Qualifications:**- Previous experience working with children in a similar capacity is preferred.- Energetic, outgoing, and able to engage with children and create a fun atmosphere.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Knowledge of age-appropriate games, activities, and entertainment.- Basic knowledge of first aid and child safety.
